Senior Leadership Team  Graham Davis, APS ChairGraham Davis, the former head of sales at Royal Mail, is the chair of the Association of Professional Sales, executive board. Graham was Sales Director at Royal Mail for 12 years, responsible for an income target of £4.3bn, delivered through direct and indirect sales teams. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Professional Sales and has been pivotal in helping the APS to revolutionise the sales industry. In 2016 Graham took on the role as chair of the APS trailblazer group to develop the first B2B degree-level apprenticeship in professional sales. He then led from the front to become the first director to take on a new generation of sales apprentices at Royal Mail.   Andrew Hough, Founder and CEOAndy has led the Association of Professional Sales from its early years as a completely new organisation to its current position as a force for positive change within the sales profession. Andy has a long career in sales, and as a sales leader. Before founding the APS, he was Vice President Enterprise and Mid Range Storage at EMC. Drawing on his experience as a global sales leader, Andy is able to offer guidance to other leaders to see the future of the sales sector and advises on the changes that are needed to develop professional, customer-centric sales teams, built on skills, knowledge and ethical behaviour.   Mike Gibson, Chief Operating OfficerMike Gibson joined the Association of Professional Sales (APS) as Chief Operating Office in October 2020. Mike has a long and distinguished career in sales, most recently as sales director at Royal Mail Group. In his time at Royal Mail, Mike introduced the first sales apprenticeships. This was achieved working with the APS, which now supports a wide range of government-funded apprentice schemes ranging from entry-level through to masters. Mike’s background in leading a large salesforce, understanding complex customer coverage models, managing transformation programmes and, most importantly, how to get the very best from people, means that he brings a solid grasp of the strategic with the practical understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by the professional sellers who are members of the APS. Mike said: “I firmly believe in sales as a profession. Working with government, industry and salespeople we are raising standards across the sector and campaigning about the importance of business-to-business selling to the UK economy. We support salespeople through providing expert learning, compelling insights and access to continuous professional development; aims which are close to my heart.“   Alison Matthias, APS Board Director and Managing Director of the Professional Sales AcademyWith a background in sales enablement and sales improvement, Alison has been an integral part of the APS since 2017. As Managing Director of the Professional Sales Academy, Alison oversees and produces education programmes to help salespeople develop the skills, knowledge and behaviour to match other business professionals, like those working in accountancy, procurement or HR. The Professional Sales Academy is the education arm of the APS, with programmes that lead to professional accreditation and qualifications. Alison said: “I have the pleasure of working with some fantastic academic minds to create programmes that will bring commercially viable and lasting improvements to individual sellers.“   Zeenath Kuraisha, Shareholder and Managing Director of APS Asia and PSA Asia.Zeenath is also the CEO of the award winning, Singapore government approved leading authority and preeminent online E-University for Sales, The Asia Pacific Sales & Marketing Academy. Zeenath is a veteran sales expert with with close to 3 decades of tele sales, inside sales and customer and partner management experience. She also serves as Singapore Chapter President for AA-ISP. She has received numerous accolades and recognition from the industry including Sales Hacker’s 35 Most Influential Women in Sales, Best Asia Corporate Consultant by HRM Asia, Executive of the Year for Education by Singapore Business review and was named one of “50 Asia's Women Leaders of the Year” by CMO Asia.   Jennie Harnaman, Operations ManagerWith over 25 years experience in professional bodies, Jennie brings a wealth of operational knowledge to the APS. As Head of Operations, Jennie overseas membership experience and onboarding, as well as our events program. Jennie is passionate about delivering value to our members and has been involved with the APS since we launched our first conference. She has been a focal point for our members and partners over the years and a trusted member of the team.   Graham Smith, Head of Corporate SuccessGraham has 20 years of sales experience and has built strong business relationships with our corporate clients to give them the best experience of their APS membership. With a background in education and learning software, Graham is able to bring insight and ideas to our members. He works at many of our regional events where he hosts our speakers and partners with his characteristic wit! |
