Welcome to the Association of Professional Sales

Congratulations and welcome to the Association of Professional Sales – the organisation that is committed to advancing and promoting the sales profession. We are delighted to welcome you as a Member of the APS. As a Member, you are personally committing to adhere to the APS Sales Code of Conduct, to mentor others in the Sales Profession and to encourage other individuals and Corporates to join the Association.

APS Member Benefits and how to access them

  • As a Member you are entitled to use post-nominal designatory letters (M.APS) after your name and to use the APS Member logo.  You can add your logo and designatory letters to your email signature, business cards, other social media platforms, stationery and so on. Taking advantage of your APS logo and designatory letters will differentiate you from your competitors and show your true sales professionalism to your colleagues and peers.

  • Being a member of the APS gives you access to a global community of sales professionals. By logging into your member account, you will be able to connect with other members and keep in touch with what is happening around the Association.
  • Enhance your skills, network with peers and become a role-model for others by attending the various APS events, conferences, workshops and webinars. To book onto any APS event, sign into your account where you will see upcoming events. Simply select and register.
  • Your membership also gives you access to the APS CPD (Continuous Professional Development) Platform via the Quicklinks tab on your profile and selecting APS CPD Platform:
  • You will also be able to view historical content and future content pertinent to your membership grade. By viewing this content, your learning will also be added to your annual CPD requirements.
  • The APS encourages all our members to demonstrate their commitment to acting ethically and responsibly by completing the Professional Registration Assessment. Successful completion of the assessment will result in your entry onto the public register of sales professionals and will allow you to use the Registered Sales Professional logo. Professional Registration is included as part of your membership and requires renewal every 2 years - this is also accessed via the CPD Platform.
  • Join our social media platforms to keep up-to-date with news, events and contribute to discussions using Twitter@AssocProfSales and on the APS LinkedIn group.

Our aim is to provide you with an opportunity to, develop, network, become a role-model for others, to gain formal accreditation (if required) and to join us in our journey to enhance the image of the Sales Profession aiming for Chartered status by 2020.
